Something needs to change in Oregon… NOW!

So here is the latest to come out of Oregon… please keep in mind these are only 7 cases, I got to the last one & couldn’t do it anymore. There are many more but I just didn’t have the heart or stomach to keep looking. The problem I am having is that so many abuse cases are coming out of Oregon that don’t make the news, & that are swept under the rug & in almost all cases the animals are euthanized.

HILLSBORO — A man was arrested Wednesday for repeatedly trespassing into a Washington County barn and sexually abusing a horse.

Tony Hall-Rivas, 47, was taken into custody without incident at his home near the community of Manning, said sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Bob Ray.

Detectives allege that Hall-Rivas had been trespassing onto the property since at least last September to abuse the gelding, but could not identify him until recently with DNA evidence from a hat.

They must be so proud, but that’s not all folks

Dogs sexually assaulted Jefferson, OR (US)
Incident Date: Wednesday, Jul 1, 2009
County: Marion
Charges: Misdemeanor
Disposition: Alleged

» Rachel Mae Petterson – Convicted
» Sam L. Petterson – Not Charged

A Jefferson woman has been arrested on accusations of sexually assaulting dogs after police found home video of the woman and her husband with the animals. Police were investigating allegations of sexual abuse and child pornography related to Sam L. Petterson, 34, of Jefferson when they found the footage. Petterson was arrested and charged in March. Rachel M. Petterson, 32, was arrested April 14 and released from Marion County jail the same day.

A probable cause statement written by Marion County Sheriff’s Detective Ted Burwell accuses Petterson of two counts of sexual assault of an animal, a misdemeanor. If convicted, Peterson could face penalties of more than $6,000 in fines and as long as one year in jail for each charge, according to Oregon Revised Statutes. A probable cause statement is a document that provides legal ground for holding a person in jail.

Case Updates

A Jefferson woman was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail and 60 months of supervised probation after pleading guilty to multiple charges of sexual assault of an animal and criminal mistreatment. Marion County Judge Mary James also ordered Rachel Petterson to undergo a sex offender evaluation and any treatment recommended as a result of that evaluation. She will not have to register as a sex offender. Petterson and her now ex-husband, Sam Petterson, were arrested in April on allegations of sexual assault of an animal after police found home video of them sexually assaulting dogs.

Rachel Petterson also was charged with criminal mistreatment, and Sam Petterson was charged with child pornography, including encouraging child sex abuse and using children in display of sexually explicit conduct. He was sentenced five months ago to 43 years in prison. Judge James’ sentencing also prohibits Rachel Petterson from owning or having contact with domestic animals and from having any contact with Sam Petterson.

Okay here is another one…

Dog beaten, choked, sexually assaulted
Portland, OR (US)

Incident Date: Friday, Jan 7, 2011
County: Multnomah

Charges: Misdemeanor, Felony CTA
Disposition: Dismissed (Conditional)

Person of Interest: Gene David Fosdick, Jr.

A maintenance worker at Cascadian Terrace Apartments couldn’t understand where a roll of paper towels he had placed in a common area had gone to so he checked the complex’s video surveillance images. He was horrified by what he saw. A resident repeatedly hitting, slapping, whipping, choking and sexually abusing a little dog. And, the activity went on for awhile, police and prosecutors said.

The worker turned the video images over to Multnomah County Sheriff’s Detective Ken Yohe, which led to the arrest of resident Gene David Fosdick Jr. Fosdick, 38, was arraigned Tuesday morning on a two-count indictment charging him with first-degree aggravated animal abuse and sexual assault of an animal. The Chihuahua belonged to Fosdick and was named Peanut. Fosdick pleaded not guilty to each of the charges. He told police he was rubbing and scratching the dog because it had fleas, the affidavit says.

Case Updates
A 38-year-old man who slapped and excessively rubbed the genital area of his Chihuahua in the middle of the night in a common room of his North Portland apartment complex pleaded no contest to animal neglect and must undergo a drug evaluation and possible treatment. Gene David Fosdick Jr. also must attend a class specially designed for him by the Oregon Humane Society on how to care for his dog, Peanut. Authorities plan to eventually return the dog to Fosdick.

He was charged with first-degree aggravated animal abuse and sexual assault of an animal. Today, he was charged with a third count, animal neglect. Wearing a jean jacket, black pants and white athletic shoes, he stood with his hands clasped before the judge and pleaded no contest to animal neglect.

Circuit Judge Christopher Marshall ordered Fosdick to return to court in one year. If he follows all laws and completes the drug evaluation, goes to drug treatment if directed and attends the Humane Society class, the judge will dismiss the animal-neglect charge against him. And the prosecutor’s office also won’t pursue any other charges against him. Fosdick has previously been convicted of drug possession. At the time of his arrest, he was unemployed and taking medication for depression.

Douglas Spink Arrested In BESTIALITY Case: Mice In Vaseline, Dogs, Horses Found At Exitpoint Stallions Limitee

Douglas Spink Bestiality

First Posted: 06/16/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 05:10 PM ET

SEATTLE — A convicted cocaine smuggler has been arrested for running what authorities say appears to be a bestiality farm in Washington state in which visitors could engage in all sorts of twisted sex acts with animals.

Douglas Spink was arrested at his ramshackle, heavily wooded compound near the Canadian border in Whatcom County along with a 51-year-old tourist from Great Britain who is accused of having sex with three dogs.

Dozens of dogs, horses and pet mice were seized, along with what investigators described as thousands of images of bestiality and apparent child pornography. The mice were euthanized, said Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo, whose office assisted federal agents in the case.

“This stuff is just truly bizarre,” he said. “These were mice that had their tails cut off, they were smothered in Vaseline and they had string tied around them.”

It wasn’t immediately clear whether other zoophilic tourists had been to Spink’s farm, but Assistant U.S. Attorney Susan Roe said Friday, “I expect there may have been other people visiting the property.”

Spink has not been charged with any bestiality or child porn charges at this point, only with violating the terms of his supervised release. Stephen Clarke of Peterborough, England, was arrested on state charges for allegedly abusing the dogs.

Spink’s lawyer, Howard Phillips, insisted there’s no evidence his client violated the terms of his release. “There’s no hard evidence he’s been engaging in bestiality at all,” Phillips said.

Spink, who has a history of training and breeding dogs and horses, appeared in U.S. District Court in Seattle on Friday and was ordered detained pending another hearing, set for April 30. He calls his operation Exitpoint Stallions Limitee and expounds at length on its Web site about his philosophy.

“Are we unconventional in our approach to stallion care? Absolutely,” he writes.

He later adds: “We don’t wall off sexual energy in our stallions as something dangerous or inappropriate, but rather channel that energy towards positive, safe, appropriate paths. There’s a proper time and place for it, and we work towards those sorts of skills rather than fighting un-winnable fights against deeply-rooted instincts.”

Spink, 39, made a fortune in Oregon buying and selling small companies in the 1990s and was known as an adrenaline junkie, listing rockclimbing and base-jumping off cliffs, radio towers and bridges among his hobbies.

Oregon Man Accused of Sex Abuse Involving Teens, Child, Dog

Published October 07, 2009 Associated Press

An Oregon man is accused of sex crimes involving two teenagers and a 4-year-old girl, and police say he used the Internet to line up people to have a group sex with one of the victims.

Darrin Vaughn Daily, 44, of Newberg, faces numerous charges and is being held on $1 million bail in the Yamhill County Jail.

Sgt. Tim Weaver of the Newberg-Dundee Police Department said investigators searched Daily’s apartment and seized evidence after a 15-year-old disclosed last month that Daily had sex with her after providing marijuana and alcohol.

Investigators soon learned that another girl, 14, accused Daily of sexually abusing her and photographing it. The girl told them Daily had at times tied her up and forced her into group sex with the men he solicited on the Web site Craigslist.

The girl also told police Daily photographed her having sex with his dog.

Weaver said detectives who analyzed Weaver’s computer found images of the girl having sex with adults and the dog. Images of a 4-year-old girl being sexually abused were also found.

Weaver told The Oregonian newspaper he had never seen such a case in more than three decades as a police officer.

“This is certainly at the top of the list of hideous crimes,” he said

Police were able to find the 4-year-old, and she told investigators that Daily sexually abused her. She is being cared for at a child abuse assessment center, according to a police statement.

The three men accused of responding to the Craigslist ad and taking part in the sex abuse are Patricio Moreno, 43, of Forest Grove; Robert D. Thompson, 34, of Portland; and David Garcia, 41, of McMinnville. They also were jailed in Yamhill County, although Garcia posted bail.

Police also seek a woman accused of sexually abusing one of the girls.

Daily is accused of rape, sodomy, sex abuse, sexual assault of an animal, delivery of marijuana to a minor, online sexual corruption of a child, endangering the welfare of a minor and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct.

Thompson, Garcia and Moreno are all charged with sex abuse and third-degree rape. Thompson faced an additional charge of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, while Moreno is accused of sodomy.

Unfortunately most all of the victims of the sexual abuse are murdered as well

Victim in Klamath Falls, Oregon dog sex abuse case killed By
on January 28, 2009 at 1:42 PM, updated January 28, 2009 at 2:16 PM

Max, a German Shepherd belonging to a Klamath Falls couple, was put down as a result of the sex abuse perpetrated by the couple for financial gain.

“Because of the way it was taught to interact with people, it couldn’t be placed in another home,” said the district attorney who prosecuted the case.

Steven Baker, 54, and Kim Baalbergen, 50, of Klamath Falls, Ore. were sentenced on Jan. 27, 2009 to misdemeanor sexual abuse of an animal. Each had plead guilty to three counts of abuse in December.

From The Associated Press:

Prosecutor Cole Chase said be believes it’s the first time anyone in Oregon has been fully prosecuted under that law.Chase said Baalbergen performed oral sex on the dog and received oral, vaginal and anal sex. He said Baker received anal sex.

The pair sold three videotapes to a sex site in Amsterdam for $12,000.

Following 60 days in the Klamath County jail, the criminals will have to perform 40 hours of community service. In addition, the couple agreed not to own an animal for two years.

Unfortunately there is no shortage of freaks & geeks in this state of little regulations, now remember this is where the Kennewick Puppy Miller Ella Stewart moved her operation to, & also the place where the breeder I got Lilly from is breeding dogs with Demodex, & keeping them in barns, the exact number of dogs she has is unknown… but it is also a state where I have reports of over 70 puppy mills, fighting operations, & other disgusting activities involving animals. It seems to be the norm but it has to do with the fact that Oregon has almost no regulations, these mills, hoarders, fighters, abusers don’t have anything stopping them, no regulations, no teeth in any of the legislation. Thankfully they did write a law making it illegal to have sex with animals, but the state law does no good if the local authorities don’t enforce them & that is the status quo. Here are just a few of the stories that come out of this state.

I don’t even know how to explain this next story

Jasha Lottin, Oregon Woman, Took Nude Photos Inside Horse Carcass (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post First Posted: 11/03/11 01:36 PM ET Updated: 11/03/11 02:57 PM ET

After caring for a 32-year-old horse in declining health, a woman identified by police as Jasha Lottin and her boyfriend, John Frost, put it down with a single gunshot from a large calibre rifle.

What they did next has sparked “extreme emotional reactions,” and even death threats.

“People are shocked … horrified. It’s extremely shocking,” Washington County Sgt. Dave Thompson told The Huffington Post.

Once the couple shot and gutted the horse, 21-year-old Lottin took off her clothing, climbed inside the carcass and took photos. After posting them online, the couple was met with an avalanche of criticism that lead to a police investigation for animal cruelty.

As well as photos of Lottin inside the horse’s body, there are many others, one of which appears to depict the couple posing with the animal’s heart.

The couple’s explanation for the photos — and later eating the animal? According to authorities at the department, the pair wanted to feel “one with the horse” and nature.

Oregon police are investigating what they describe as an especially disturbing case of animal cruelty in which a small family dog was cut in two and the hind quarters of the body were left in the owner’s yard.

“Not too much shocks us,” said police Sgt. Chris Bliss. “This kinds of shocks us. We don’t see too much of this sort of thing.”

Said Detective Sgt. Kelly Thibert, “I think the person who did this is disgusting and twisted. To us, it’s a huge warning sign that bigger problems could be coming our way.”

The dog, a 20-pound female terrier mix named Khloe, lived at 1041 Mambrino St. and was owned by Melody Wilhelm, 45, according to an Oregon police report.
