Some of you might remember I did a post on how much my court case has cost the City of Everett, more correctly what it has cost the Taxpayers of Everett. I have recently discovered some other costs associated with it that I didn’t factor in.

Court costs… What does it really cost the state to go to court? There are about 200 fees associated with going to court it seems.

Court & Judge fee about 197.00 X’s 28 (Updated figure as we have now been to court 35 times with 3 more hearings to go, including the actual trial (AND THE TRIAL SHOULD COST ABOUT 60k) & the judge has promised to make me come to court every single week if we don’t get an expert witness now but the city won’t release the lab results & the other discovery we have been asking for for almost 10 months, so we can’t get an expert witness. What are they going to “testify” to? I also realized the Judge makes far more than what I what I was originally told)
Filing fees 190.00 (average) X’s 14 (update there have been 6 more filings since this date.)
Lab Fees 600.00 per instance X’s 10 (Update there was a lot more than 10 tests, according to their statements since they won’t give us the lab results we can’t know for sure, there have been over 20 different lab results & my dogs have been getting sick, getting lacerations from who knows what, maybe a dog fight or getting hit by a car, getting given medications they have had reactions to that could’ve killed them & having multiple seizures because of drug overdoses, & possibly from them letting the animal control officers treat my animals, they have had tapeworm infestations so that means flea infestations, which is why one of them is sick some FIVE months after they were taken from me)
Witness 73.00 per day X’s 23
Expert Witness 850.00-2500.00 (700-1000 pr day average)X’s 9
Appointment of indigent counsel 500.00 (this is now up to 1700 per incidence)
Average cost of Counsel 10,0000.00 (After learning that the people concerned make more than 100K per year this figure is off by about 48K I also didn’t factor in the time spent by the City’s attorney working on this as well)
Impound fees X’s 6 20.00 per day X’s 205 days 4100.00
Manpower hours for the city 35,000.00 (here is where the BIGGEST mistake I made was, I have logged in well over 2000 hours the City sits on my webpage & my blog, at the cost of 2400 to 4800 per week in wages, over a 35 week period I believe totaling between 250K to 450k in wages spent on my page, I could be a REAL jerk & factor in the amount of time after office hours & the amount of time spent on the weekends on my page & blog as well)
Administrative & copy fees 2700.00
Investigators, 3500.00 (average) (Note to the city: NO you can not say it is an investigator who is payed minimum wage sitting on my site from 20 to 70 hours a week, I have your IP Address, even the ones not actually registered to the city)

JUDGE FEES 6800.00 + 4700.00              = 115,000.00
FILING FEES 2700.00 + 1200.00                  = 3900.00
LAB FEES 6000.00 + 6000.00      = 12,000.00
WITNESS FEES 14,750.00                                = 14,750.00
EXPERT FEES 7800.00                                          = 7800.00
MY ATTORNEY FEES 14,000.00 + 48,000.00 = 68,000.00
IMPOUND FEES 4500.00 + 3000.00                    = 7500.00
CITY ATTORNEY FEES 40,000.00 + 38,000.00 = 78,000.00
(COMBINED WITH EMPLOYEES, ADMIN FEES & INVESTIGATORS)

PLEASE NOTE I DID NOT INCLUDE THE MAN HOURS SPENT ONLINE SURFING MY BLOG & WEB PAGE YET OR THE COST OF THE TRIAL IN THE TOTAL ABOVE BUT MIDDLE GROUND FIGURES WOULD BE ABOUT 374K YES THAT IS 374 THOUSAND DOLLARS, MORE THAN THEY SPENT ON COMMUNITY SERVICES THIS YEAR!!!

CONSERVATIVE GUESSTIMATE TOTAL 306,950.00 FOR A MISDEMEANOR, YES THAT IS RIGHT!!! A MISDEMEANOR & TO SETTLE A PERSONAL VENDETTA AGAINST ME.

SO THE CITY IS WILLING TO SPEND ALMOST A QUARTER TO A HALF OF A MILLION DOLLARS ON A MISDEMEANOR??? ABOUT 4.5 MILLION MORE ONCE MY TORT CLAIM GOES THROUGH… BRILLIANT!!! NICE TO SEE THAT THE CITY HAS SO MUCH MONEY TO THROW AROUND. OH WAIT IT’S NOT THEIR MONEY WHY SHOULD THEY CARE?

WE CAN BUILD IT, WE CAN MAKE IT LONGER, WE CAN DRAG IT OUT: THE 6 MILLION DOLLAR MISDEMEANOR. (NOT COMING TO A THEATER NEAR YOU SOON) LEE MAJORS WOULD BE JEALOUS :~)
